Welcome to Lecomte Yachts Forum

Hi everyone,

built onto the website, here is a new forum dedicated to these great LeComte sailboats. The idea is to gather together a community who had like to share informations and experiences about these vessels.

First it would be great to make an inventory of the Lecomte actually sailing today. So just a quick hello with a picture of your LeComte might be a great start. Then we could create into the website a specific page where the owner could post pictures and tell us about its navigations and improvement works.

My name is Emeric from south Britany in France. I'm sailing for about 12 years with my LeComte Medalist 33 MKII, that I bought to a Dutch man from Middelburg. I can't say how much joy and proud this boat gives me, with a strong feeling of security. Here some pics of my last summer around Britany...

Not sure what the response has been, but thanks for building this site. I have a Medalist 33 in Nova Scotia. Hull 79

I grew up on a Medalist II from about age 4 to my 40s. Sadly I was landlocked in my 40s when my father decided to sell the boat because of his age. I am hoping to retire in a year and liveaboard/cruise. I would be seriously interested in buying a Medalist (east coast of US) that has been well maintained. I loved that boat. Our home port was the NY Hudson river but we sailed the Great Lakes many times and all the way to the Bahamas once. I have watched the ads for a year and never seen a Medalist for sale. If anyone hears of one PLEASE let me know.
